J.BARTYN DESIGN + MANUFACTURING
Is headed by former Martha Stewart art director + designer, Cambria Evans.
The company is named after her grandfather, Jacob Bartyn (Bartijn, before being a misspelling at Ellis Island). Originally from a small fabric manufacturing town in the Netherlands, he moved to New York City in 1908, and later became a candy distributor. Cambria's love of all things candy and parties comes from him-- and she has drawn inspiration for many patterns and typographic styles from his Dutch heritage.
